The Count of St. Germain is a Los Angeles- based goth rock band with heavy guitar-driven riffs, pounding rock grooves, soulful female vocals, a haunting male voice, Latin syncopation, and dark wave synths. Their influences range from 80’s death rock bands like Christian Death and The Super Heroines, to the British Goth icons like The Sisters of Mercy and Siouxsie and the Banshees. Their songwriting style of groove-based/melodic tunes demonstrate the influence of 80’s new wave/post punk bands like The Human League, Berlin, and rock/pop icons like David Bowie and Madonna.
